Email Pictures with Picasa in Fedora

  1. Click this link and click Open With: Package Installer.
  2. Click Install.
  3. Click Force Install.
  4. The Package Installer will now ask you for your root password.
  5. When the installation is complete you can now open Picasa via Applications > Graphics > Picasa (folder) > Picasa.
  6. The first time Picasa runs it will search for images in your home folder, this can take a while if you have a large image collection.
  7. After Picasa has finished searching for images simply select the images that you want to send.
  8. Click Email.
  9. Sign into your gmail account.
  10. Enter your recipient’s email address, the subject, and a short message. 
  11. Click Send.
